David Stevens has been actively involved in the field of Condition Monitoring and Predictive maintenance for over 25 years and is a fellow Member of the Institution of Diagnostic Engineers.
He started his working career as an apprentice mechanical engineer and spent 8 years through college learning various disciplines. He found his real passion back in the early 1980’s when he was responsible for implementing machinery condition monitoring at his local coal mine.
David has worked and carried out ISO accredited training in most manufacturing sectors throughout his career, such as Coal mining (deep and surface), Pulp and Paper, off shore oil and gas, on shore oil refining, cement and plaster manufacturing, food and beverage, specialty chemicals to name a few.
David has held the position of Reliability and Condition Monitoring advisor to Shell Industrial Services and now works as Technical Manager and Trainer for one of Europe’s largest provider of reliability solutions.
David’s training style is borne out of his wide and varied depth of knowledge of the subject and driven by his never ending passion for his chosen career path. He almost hooks the candidates immediately by ensuring group involvement throughout.
