Dietmar has over 30 years professional experience, of those 20 years in the oil and gas industry with 12 years spent in South East Asia. Dietmar holds two German vocational diplomas, a professional engineering degree from Germany and an MBA from the UK. Throughout his career he worked as project engineer, engineering manager and consultant for international renowned companies.
As project engineer, he has led and executed engineering projects and on-site inspections worldwide for Storage Tanks, Process Piping, Pressure Vessels and Coiled Tubing, both on- and offshore. In addition to that Dietmar has developed classroom based and virtual technical training courses and also personally trained hundreds of students from diverse backgrounds to become certified as API 510, 570 and 653 Inspectors, Plant Inspectors and Welding Inspectors.
